Are you running out of ideas what to do in Costa Rica? Then visit Osa Peninsula and Corcovado – one of the most beautiful and pristine parts of this lovely country! Explore the amazing wildlife in Corcovado National Park, which is one of the most biodiverse places in the world. This package also includes a visit to Caño Island, which is surrounded by coral reefs and, therefore, a paradise for snorkelers and divers. We offer two different hotels to choose from, both in Drake Bay.

After picking you up at your hotel in Manuel Antonio, the shared shuttle will take you to Sierpe, from where you will go by boat to Drake Bay, to your selected hotel.

04The next day, you will do a guided tour to the Corcovado National Park, home to a spectacular array of wildlife. The park has been referred to as “the most biologically intense place on Earth” by National Geographic! You may be able to observe monkeys, sloths, anteaters, peccaries, raccoons, tapirs, toucans, scarlet macaws and many more! More than 400 different species of birds and approx. 140 different species of mammals can be found here. If you are very lucky, you may even spot a puma or jaguar! After a wonderful day in the Corcovado National Park, you can enjoy a delicious dinner at your hotel.

The second tour included in this package is a Caño Island snorkeling tour. The Caño Island Biological Reserve has an41 amazing marine biodiversity. If you visit in the right season, you may be able to observe the migration of the whale sharks and humpback whales, which is a once-in-a-lifetime experience! But there is much more to this beautiful island: it is surrounded by five platforms of coral reefs; therefore, it is a paradise for snorkelers and divers. Of course, you will also have time to relax on the beautiful beach and do some bird watching.

If you stay four nights, you will have one day on your own to relax or explore the pristine nature surrounding your hotel. Or you can, of course, book another tour with us; just let us know.

For an extra charge, we can also pick you up and drop you off in San José. Alternatively, you can choose the option to fly from and to San Jose.

Our standard package comes with the choice of a more economical/midrange option or the opportunity to upgrade to a more luxurious option. Both places have charm, and we believe that you get good value for what you pay.

Pirate Cove is a small hotel, consisting of comfortable cabins and bungalows that are hidden among rainforest trees on a deserted beach in Osa. The hotel’s delicious European-Costa Rican style cooking and the homemade bread and deserts receive very high praise. Pirate Cove offers bungalows, cabins, and air-conditioned rooms.

All cabins and bungalows at Pirate Cove Hotel have orthopedic mattresses, hot water showers, and 24-hour electricity.

The bungalows have one double bed and either one or two single beds, a small terrace with a hammock and chairs and your private view of paradise.

The cabins are perfect for couples who want more privacy or for families. They are very spacious, and each contains one double bed and three single beds. You can swing in your hammck or read in your deck chair on your large private terrace that overlooks both the Pacific Ocean and Drake River.

The air-conditioned rooms have one double bed and one or two single beds. These rooms don’t have either an ocean view or balcony.
