River and Sea Kayaking with Rainforest Hike

It doesn’t get any better than river and sea kayaking! Get acquainted with the wilderness as we drive to the most beautiful location in the area, Punta Uva.

Enjoy the Coast

After a safety briefing we will embark in a magical sea kayaking journey paralleling the coast. Keep an eye out – it’s full of cliffs, caves, and the most amazing rainforest. Then we will paddle our way up river though gorgeous rainforest. Here, you can expect to spot monkeys, sloth, colorful birds, river turtles, bats and iguanas. Your professional guide will deliver a lot of interesting insights on this wonderful eco system.

Beach It

Back at the beach we will take a nice break to relax, swim and enjoy some nicely presented fresh fruit and snacks. Then, we’ll start hike to the great over view at Grape Point.

Please note: if the sea section is cancelled due to unsafe conditions we will offer a longer hike in the jungle. No refund will apply.

Itinerary:

10:00 AM Pickups at hotels, drive to Punta Uva with interesting information en route
10:30 AM Arrival, safety briefing and proceed to kayak
12:30 PM Fruit and snacks break at the beach
1:00 PM Hike to Grape Point
2:00 PM Finish activities, return to van, take a small break and drive back
2:30 PM Arrive at the hotel on time to shower before lunch on your own

Cost per person: Adults $55.00, Children $27.50
Includes: Transport, service of professional guide, gear (lifejackets, paddles and dry bags), all entrance fees, fruits, snacks and bottled water.
What to bring: Comfortable water shoes that will stay on (keens, crocs or strap on sandals) swimsuit on, sunscreen, hut, long sleeve shirt/rash guard to cover your back, camera (ideally water proof), water bottle, towel, insect repellent, binoculars, raincoat and a bit of cash.
