Your bilingual guide will pick you up at the reception of your hotel. In a comfortable mini-van we will first do a small city tour through Limon with some interesting infos on the Caribbean port city. We will then continue north of Limon city, to the Tortuguero Canals.
There a motor boat you will take you on a safari through the mangroves looking for wildlife. Usually animals are quite easy to spot along the canal. You will see lots of birds, mammals like sloths
and monkeys, reptiles like the emerald basilisk lizard and with a bit of luck even a caiman.
On the way back, you will visit a banana plantation and the packing station. You will get to know all about
this delicious tropical fruit.

Choose the Azul Beach Club option when booking your tour (for $15 per person). Includes transportation to Banana Azul after end of tour, beach chairs with rancho, lunch entree served either on beach or in restaurant, beach towel, locker, shower and pool access (no children under 16 allowed in pool). Not included: transport back to your hotel (ask our tour desk for help), drinks, tips.

Most tours and activities run daily but have reached capacity on your date or haven\'t reached a minimum number of persons required for the tour to operate. If we are unable to accommodate you on your chosen date, we will, at your option, either reschedule your date or refund your payment, less bank fees, promptly.
Full payment is required at the time of reservation to secure your spot. We will email you a confirmation so you will be fully paid up on the day of your trip.
Should your plans change and you are unable to make your tour/transport or need to make changes, we will work with the supplier to either accommodate you on another tour or refund your money.
The client is also responsible for any fees charged by the vendor as they have committed resources to your tour and may have more restrictive policies. The more notice you give us, the more likely we will be able to reaccommodate you.
Tours will depart daily regardless of weather unless conditions would make it unsafe so please be prepared for the possibility of rain.
For tours within Costa Rica please always make sure to carry a copy of your valid passport and your last entry stamp with you. For day and multi-day trips that involve border-crossing you must carry your valid passport and a copy of it with you at all times. Border crossing fees may apply.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice are not refundable. Cancellations of single bookings with less than 7 days notice will incur a $15 cancellation fee (plus any bank or vendor charges).
Cancellations are subject to bank imposed fees which are generally $2 per transaction plus 3% to 5% of the amount. Or we will be happy to apply your payment to another service.
Customer is responsible for their own transport to the tour starting point. If the customer is not present at the tour starting time and place, the payment is not refundable.
