This is one of the best tours in Monteverde to see wildlife.

The tour starts around sunset; when all the wildlife are very active, because all the diurnal animals are looking for some place to sleep; and the nocturnal animals are starting their activities. This is also a great experience because you will have the opportunity to hear and see animals very different than during the daytime. The most common animals you will see are sloths, coatis, agoutis, porcupines, grey foxes, tarantulas, frogs, some species of insects and many sleeping birds.
