Day 1: La Fortuna San Carlos Masaya - Granada
Your adventure begins in La Fortuna. A bilingual driver will take you to Los Chiles, where a fast boat will be waiting to continue your trip to San Carlos de Nicaragua. After a delicious typical lunch we will board the flight to the capital city of Nicaragua, Managua. Once we get to Managua a comfortable minivan will transport you to visit the famous Masaya handicraft market, where you can find a wide array of souvenirs, a great place for shopping! After this interesting stop we will head to our final destination, the oldest colonial city founded in Central America, Granada!
Day 2: Granada
After breakfast it is time to discover the beautiful colonial treasures of Granada! In a horse-drawn carriage you will discover this amazing city. Your guide will tell you interesting facts about the old colonial buildings and will explain the rich history of this true gem. In the afternoon there will be another very interesting trip, you will visit the islets of Granada, a group of small islands located along the shores of Lake Nicaragua, they were formed by a volcanic eruption. In a small boat you will slowly navigate through the islands experiencing impressive flora and fauna and panoramic views!
Day 3: Granada Managua San Carlos La Fortuna
You will have the morning off. You can visit the historical center, such as the Convent of San Francisco, which houses an interesting museum, or just stroll along the colorful houses and get acquainted with the daily lives of its friendly people. After this we will return to La Fortuna, Costa Rica, full of good memories.
