Our Coast-to-Coast package brings you the best of Costa Rica — the Pacific Ocean, the Caribbean Sea and the spectacular Arenal Volcano and central valley in-between. Costa Rica may be only 122 km (76 miles) wide (from Pacific to Caribbean) at its narrowest point but between that is some of the the world's most biodiverse landscape with an incredible variety of animal and plant life. And some of the friendliest people you'll meet anywhere!

This 9 day / 8 night package starts at only $739 low season, $759 high season based on double-occupancy and is completely customizable to become a perfect fit for you! It includes quality accommodations in highly recommended hotels and is loaded with activities and adventure.

1	Arrival San José International Airport (Liberia Airport also possible) then head to Adventure Inn. You can spend the rest of the day by the pool or take a cab into central San José and explore the city. Or, if you arrive early enough or want to add days in San José there are many additional activities we can add in San Jose. Some of our recommendations are the Poas Volcano half day tour or the La Paz Waterfalls tour. San Jose is central to many sights so is the perfect place to do many day trips. 2	The famous Manuel Antonio National Park and its beautiful beaches await you! We'll pick you up at your San José hotel and bring you directly to Hotel Villa Bosque, just a few steps from Manuel Antonio National Park, for a 2 night stay. Other hotel options include a deluxe ocean view room at the Hotel California or the luxury Si Como No or just let us know what you're looking for. 3	Manuel Antonio. We'll pick you up and head out on a sail and snorkel tour, one of the best ways to see the area above and below the water. Spend the rest of your day exploring the park or the beautiful beaches or just chill by the pool. You can also add an optional guided tour of the park, recommended as the way to see the most animals. +	Optional add-on to Monteverde from just $75 per person. Monteverde is famous for its cloud forest, a rain forest high in the clouds with almost a middle earth feel and unique flora and fauna. We'll pick you up in Manuel Antonio, bring you to your Monteverde hotel for a one-night stay. You can explore on your own or do the highly recommended Sky Trek zipline tour or a hiking tour to the refuge. The next morning you'll travel by van and boat across Lake Arenal to La Fortuna. 4	Arenal. Comfortable minibus shuttle to Arenal. Two nights at Hotel San Bosco in La Fortuna or upgrade to a resort-style hotel out of town like the Arenal Volcano Inn or Silencio del Campo. In the evening we'll pick you up for a night time volcano tour and then to the famous Tabacon Hot Springs and Spa where you can enjoy the many different pools and amenities of the resort followed by a buffet dinner with a view of the volcano. 5	Arenal. Choose either a free day to explore the area, head to Lake Arenal or add a half-day tour to the Arenal Waterfall by horseback. If your time is limited or you just want more time at the beach, you can choose to eliminate days 3 and 4 from the itinerary and just do them as a day trip from San Jose on day 2 including Tabacon and the nightime volcano tour. 6	Whitewater Rafting on the Pacuare River to the Caribbean. We'll pick you up early in Arenal for an all-day adventure on Costa Rica's most popular river. You'll get breakfast at the rafting center where your luggage is stored. Then it's a full day river trip with lunch on the river. 7	Puerto Viejo. The Caribbean coast has a wide variety of beaches and activities. Perhaps rent a bike and spend the day exploring on your own. There are a wide variety of international restaurants too. Or choose an optional activity. The Cahuita National Park Hike and Snorkel tour includes a guided hike with a naturist and a boat ride with a snorkel in the reef. A canopy/zipline tour gives you a unique perspective on nature. +	Optional add-on to Tortuguero starting at $130 per person. Tortuguero National Park is an isolated area on the north part of the Caribbean coast reachable only by boat or by air. Unspoiled nature, turtle watching and jungle canals await you. We'll pick you up at your Puerto Viejo hotel, bring you to Tortuguero by mini-bus and boat for a 1 night stay at a lodge. 8	Morning or afternoon transportation to San Jose by minibus shuttle for a 1 night stay at Adventure Inn. Evening on your own to explore. Or stay on in San José and ask about all the other tours and activities available.

Package details:

Duration:	Base package is 9 days/8 nights. Additional days and destinations can be added.
Departures:	Daily from San Jose or Liberia airports. You could also begin the packages from almost any other location in the country but this may affect the cost and schedule. Return to Liberia airport is additional cost.
Cost per person	The 8 night package varies from $739 to $759 p/p depending on the dates chosen. Modifying default hotel and tour choices will change the price (up or down).

Accommodations:	Includes accommodations at Arco Iris, Finca Valverde, Orquideas Inn or similar. If you have a particular hotel request, let us know and we'll advise if we can book that for you and what the price difference would be.
Includes:	● Minibus transport from San Jose to Monteverde ● One night of lodging at a hotel in Monteverde (private bath, hot water, breakfast) ● Van/Boat/Van transportation to your Arenal hotel

Tortuguero add-on details:

Duration:	Two days/One night. Additional days can be added.
Cost per person:	Standard room with swimming pool and open buffet meals $130 per person if you choose shuttle transporation for the main package. Otherwise $169 per person Additional nights can be added, select your preferred stay on the reservation form for pricing. There is no single supplement for the Tortuguero add-on.
The 2 day/1 night package Includes:	● Transportation from Puerto Viejo with drop-off in San Jose ● One night of lodging ● Five great meals (2 breakfast, 2 lunch, 1 dinner) ● Two canal tours in the national park, in search of a close up view of the wildlife. ● One guided hike in the national park ● One trip to the interesting town of Tortuguero with a visit to the Caribbean Conservation Corporation.
