Arenal Volcano Hike & Hot Springs
The Arenal Volcano tour starts with a drive to the Western side of the volcano. Once there you will embark on a hike on the Toucans Trail which traverses the rainforest and crosses over a large lava flow from 1992. It is possible to observe a great variety of plants, wildlife and magnificent lava rock formations. Once on the top of the lava flow you will have a beautiful view of the Arenal Lake. The hike ends up at a view point, where if the weather allows, you will be able to see rocks (no lava at the moment) rolling down the side of the volcano. During the tour, experienced guides will provide interesting and educational information regarding the history of the majestic mountain and the Arenal Volcano National Park.
After that, you will go to your choice of Los Lagos, The Springs, Tabacón Resort, Baldi Hotsprings or Ecotermales where you can enjoy the different temperature pools. The package also includes a buffet dinner. Dine with a view of the volcano!
At the end of the evening we will bring you back to your hotel in La Fortuna or area.
