Birdwatchers and nature lovers, this is the tour for you! This all day trip takes you to the mighty Rio Frio, part of the Caņo Negro Wildlife Refuge near the Nicaraguan border. This reserve is one of the most important in the world with more than 200 bird species.
Here we will begin our four-hour boat ride in search of sloths, caimans, lizards, tropical birds, monkeys and much more in the surrounding lush forest and wetlands. You will be amazed at the beauty as your guide talks about the marvels of the wildlife, ecology and culture.
A typical Costa Rican hot lunch served on the tranquil river bank is included.
