Domestic Flights

There are two domestic airlines offering scheduled flights serving many small airports/landing strips in Costa Rica, using small 10 or 20 passenger propeller planes. A 25 minute flight for about $75 can save you half a day of driving however almost all routes fly via San Jose so they are not always ideal for getting to/from other areas.

We work with Nature Air, the world's first carbon neutral airline, which flies out of Pavas airport, very close to downtown San Jose.

If schedules and destinations don't fit your needs, we can also arrange a charter or helicopter flights to the destination and at the time you desire. This includes airports may not be offered by the regular domestic airlines. In our transport planner we implemented the often requested option to fly from San Jose to the southern Caribbean and now offer this flight including onward transportation to your hotel. For all other charter and helicopter arrangements, please contact us.

* Rates shown do not include tax which is approximately $25 each way for domestic flights, more to or from Nicaragua and Panama.
** Price is based on service today. For future dates a different price may be applicable. Please fill in your dates on the reservation form to verify pricing
*** Charter flights (indicated by 'on request' in Depart column) are priced per plane not per passenger. However depending on the size of your group and/or the amount of luggage carried, a larger plane may need to be ordered which would affect the price.
